Sarah Necoloff

Sarah Brown is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Pioneering Women, an association that she founded with Susan Smythe Bishop in late 2010.  Sarah began her career in the Canadian film industry in 2001 at Famous Players Inc.  Since then, she has held positions at Cineplex Entertainment, Maple Pictures, Entertainment One and Sony Pictures.  For the past 3 years, she has been working as VP, Theatrical Sales at Paramount Pictures Canada. 

Sarah became a member of the Canadian Picture Pioneers in 2003 and was honoured to joing their board of directors in 2011, and take on the role of Vice President of the National executive in 2019.

Outside of the film industry, Sarah has enthusiastically participated in a number of fundraising efforts including the CIBC 5km Run for the Cure for 18 consecutive years and the Ride to Conquer Cancers, where she cycled from Toronto to Niagara Falls, 3 years in a row.  To date, her efforts have raised over $100,000 for numerous charities and fundraisers, an accomplishment that she is very proud of!
