Sarah Brown is the Co-Founder and Co-Director of Pioneering Women, an association that she founded with Susan Smythe-Bishop in late 2010.  Sarah began her career in the Canadian film industry in 2001 at Famous Players Inc.  Since then, she has held positions at Cineplex Entertainment, Maple Pictures, Entertainment One and is currently working as VP, Managing Director Theatrical Sales with Sony Pictures Releasing Canada. Sarah became a member of the Canadian Picture Pioneers in 2003, and was honoured to join their board of directors in 2011.  Outside the film industry, Sarah has enthusiastically participated in a number of fundraising efforts including the CIBC 5km Run for the Cure for 14 consecutive years and the Ride to Conquer Cancer, where she cycled from the city of Toronto to Niagara Falls.  To date, her efforts have raised over $95,000 for numerous charities and fundraisers, an accomplishment that she is very proud of!
